It’s not every episode we get to meet a living legend. In this episode, undoubtedly one of our greatest ever, we have the honor of jamming with Da-I “Doc” Ping, whose life would look Forest Gump look like a homebody by comparison. He fled Communist China at age 11, nearly dying before being given one of the first doses of penicillin in Bangkok. He was then adopted into an abusive environment, and emigrated to the United States from Japan. From there, he became an athlete, a coach, a Marine who served with distinction in Vietnam, a husband, a coach, and an NFL sports agent. To say he has grit is criminally understating the case. And today, he joins us for this epic podcast, sharing stories and wisdom from his incredible life.
